Powers & Abilities It's official, Sanji couldn't use black CoA coating before Elbaf

No more "You can't see it because his legs are covered" cope. 1198 marks the first time in the history of One Piece where Sanji is drawn with a leg coated in black CoA.

Another argument that's completely false is that "black haki" is not an actual thing and it's just for us to see when someone is using CoA. It's easily debunked by the existence of black blades, idk why people are still using this argument in 2026.

lmao so what yall are saying is, a lanji that couldn't even use basic coating just out did zolo in awakening acoc

That is not good for the temple lol

zolo unlocked coa back in alabaster, trained with mohawk and learned about coc, got a magic sword that sucked his haki out for him, and finally unlocked acoc himself

All that to just be outdone by the cook who don't even train

And I made that thread just to get confirmation from Sanji fans themselves about this. Powers & Abilities - Black Flames or CoC Haki | Worstgen most said it was haki. Previously they always tried to downplay him being unable to show hardening like Lucci or Vergo but now they are acknowledging his increased level of haki being shown on his clothes.

That's the advCoC coating, you know, the advCoC that he's using to damage Killingham' immortality.

By the way the usual armament haki when displayed it has a something like a shining pattern or translucent like this

Sanji's leg it's completely black. I don't know but it's pretty different from normal armament haki coating when it is displayed, not the "invisible" one. As always it could be Oda wanted to make it like that because it's "cooler".

I'm pretty sure Oda never showed us "visibly" how supreme king haki coating looks like. It could be this the first time with Sanji but it's only speculation.
