The fact that Oda made sure they were brought to the ship is......interesting. He could have just prevented that, pretty easily too. So......are they actually going to get taken?
My initial thought?

The Giants kids are probably going to commandeer the ship and try to fight Imu with it. At the least, Colon knows how to sail one.

I could also see them teaming with Jinbe/getting the Elbaph Fire-Fighters to help fight the fires, that's still a big problem that is currently being ignored because Imu is such a threat.

On Sun Wukong and the One Piece treasure:
But if Oda really is going there, the One Piece is probably just the scriptures. That's the whole point of Journey to the West: you go west, you get sacred texts, you bring them back for regular people. So it's some kind of text, the real history or Joy Boy's message or whatever. And in the book, the first scriptures they get are blank because they wouldn't pay a bribe, and then the Buddha says the blank ones are actually the truest. So I guess that's what Roger was laughing at.

I like the idea of giving Imu a Win thanks to the chaos that will be unfolding from now on. I wonder what the giants will do if some of their children get kidnapped like that.
Shanks arrives on Elbaph

"I have come to end this war."

Shanks starts sailing the boat with the Giant Kids on it to Marijoa

Why did Nika go to the giants village instead of fighting Imu right there? It doesn't look like a cowardly or pacifist entity, so it must have been for another reason. At the village, he first was staring/glaring at Sanji for some strange reason, then he switched to ZaZa before he popped her for laughs, so it's safe to assume he went there lookung for either Sanji or ZaZa.

Imo it's must be because of ZaZa. Even if she's a fake, she must have had a similar enough presence to the original that attracted him to her. As for the reason, maybe an anciant history between the two entities we're not aware of.

If it happens to be actually Sanji, unless Nika was hungry and wanted the best cook around to fix him smth lol, I can't think of any other reason why he went looking for him first.

Speaking of these giant kids, I wonder where those other "giant" kids ended up at.
Ahhhhh... this is a question I have pondered and I think the answer is pretty grim.

The people in charge of the Biscuit Room Kids was who? Vegapunk. Well, Vegapunk isn't part of the World Government, anymore, you might say.

But, unfortunately, Vegapunk York is very much so Garling's hungry, hungry Slave Scientist:

And, before, Vegapunk was working under the WG, but was in charge of the kids, and Saturn was the one who had control over him. Saturn had little interest in Caesar Clown's failed experiments, not the lives of children hurt by them. So, he was fine letting Vegapunk do what he wanted there, especially since it was good Marine PR, most likely, "Oh, the WG is letting us save these kids using the top scientist in the world!" Would be dumb for Saturn to step in over this, especially when researching the kids could possibly lead to some other breakthrough regarding gigantification.

Garling? The new Boss controlling York? He's 100% the kind of person to restart the experiments using these kids.

I think they have probably been taken in as slaves by Garling, to be experimented upon by York, and this is going to be another straw that breaks the camel's back and makes Tashigi and others rebel against the WG.

Oda needs to do more to build up Garling as a villain for the Straw Hats, and this is totally something Garling would do, especially since he likely despises Giants after the Harald debacle in Elback, knowing how racist he is.

Saturn was a dick when necessary to stop rebellions, and generally was one of the Gorosei who tried to talk Imu out of murderous actions and also tried to keep situations from escalating in general, Garling seems to just be a miserable wretch after Shanks left and became a fucking Yonkou. I think Garling is going to push Science into really gross areas now that he has the power he does.

Yeah, I expected more of a gorilla.
My animal interpretations of the 3 Billion Berry Trio has always been Luffy is a Bonobo, Law is an Otter (Trafalgar D. Otter Paw), and Kidd is a Wolf.

Luffy's personality is clearly modelled after actual playful monkeys, and it's legit possible at this point it's because he has latent Mink DNA.

I still believe Usopp's mother, Banchina, is Zushindodo, a child of a Giant and a Tontatta. So Bonney can use Distortion Future on Usopp to make him both a Giant and a Tontatta. That's why Banchina had the long nose, same with Usopp. HE HAS GIANT BLOOD. Pushing this theory until we get Banchina's origins.

My biggest question: is Luffy getting a permanent tail out of this, or at least permanently while in Gear 5???

I wonder if this new Nika form has multiple forms like Gear 4/Imu? I guess Gear 5 technically does have other forms with that Majin form Luffy used that lasted like three seconds.
