Do you think Luffy's new monkey mode is a new form or is it like the genie?

Personally I'm betting on it being like his genie form because I think the story doesn't allow for an actual destroyer Nika

For me the thing about it is

I think that implication is projecting the community reaction onto the story



It could be the fruit taking over, or it could be another sort of transformation in line with the genie, and Luffy playing along with it, maybe a deeper toonforce of Gear 5 where he takes on different animals' characteristics


But it's not clear that it is and I don't think it's what's going on, because in my opinion the Nika destroyer thing comes from the fact that he would destroy the WG, not that he's an actual rampaging entity, and if Luffy did just get a new stronger form he would be Roger level now, only place to go, and really, is Luffy gonna become PK level by being taken over by his fruit?


It wouldn't do anything against Imu either way even if that did happen, which if it did it'd suck
