Cinera1. Zoro has gotten only one extreme diff fight (Daz Bones) in the entirety of the series, and it was under extenuating circumstances (Zoro could not damage him at all). All his other fights have been high diff or lower.
Based on that, King would need to have a similar gimmick where Zoro can't damage him at all to push him that far (powerful COA?).
CineraZoro has yet to deploy his EL power up. If King is the first opponent Zoro uses Asura on postskip, then he's going to get stomped by it. It makes no narrative sense for Zoro to use Asura on King and then still fall short.
Cinera* Boundman debuted against Doflamingo and was superior to him.
* Raid Suit debuted against Page One and was superior to him.
If Asura debuts against King, it would be superior to him.
CineraKing pushing Zoro to extreme diff is only plausible if Zoro never uses Asura in that fight.
FinalbetaZoro is meant for highter match ups actually :D
FujishiroThe difference is if king doesn’t push zoro to extreme or more then that would mean zoro came out of timeskip stronger than luffy by a significant marging.
FujishiroYou guys are overrating zoro to an extreme degree. I feel like it may come to bite you in the ass.
FujishiroAlso if i may add, luffy's first real 1vs1 (kat) was an extreme diff fight. So i dont get how you think that zoro who is weaker than luffy will do better againsta fm when luffy was on the ground after he was done.
FinalbetaHey Zoro also matched Fuji in Stampede btw :P and he fared pretty well
Cinera@Fujishiro I do believe Zoro came out of the timeskip stronger than Luffy, but that isn't my reason for why I think King wouldn't push Zoro to extreme diff. The most important reason for this is that Zoro rarely has extreme diff fights. Luffy has had multiple extreme diff fights, almost all his battles are extreme diff. Zoro has had only one, and under very atypical circumstances.
CineraKata was not Luffy's first real 1 vs 1. Luffy had full fleshed concluded 1 vs 1 fights where he won with: Hody, Caesar Clown and Chinjao. Kata isn't even a real 1 vs 1 as he had Brulee's assistance. Luffy's battles with Doflamingo and Cracker were extreme difficulty fights, so mentioning that his battle with Kata was also an extreme diff fight is only a Red Herring.
CineraLuffy vs Kata is only significant in that Kata was a YC 1. You could make the argument that because Luffy required extreme diff to defeat someone on King's level so would Zoro. I don't find that argument compelling. In general, Luffy has a lot of extreme diff or otherwise very difficult fights. Throughout all 980 chapters of the series, Zoro has had only one extreme diff fight.
