Yeah that shit was demonic for real lol, Imu might be a real demon like the Gorosei appear to be or even the sea devil or something. I like the idea Imu might be an android, a truly immortal being from extremely advanced technology that might be able to repair/sustain itself. It goes along with your mecha heart theory too maybe?

Yeah ive been hoping for legit vampires in One Piece for decades now, we got a sort of vampire in Unlimited World Red with Patrick Redfield funnily enough and Imu and Mihawk would be so fitting to be literal vampires or based on them at least ofc. Mihawk can be a mix of Dracula or Van Helsing at least, Alucard, Vlad the Impaler etc. Dracule = Romanian for Dragon IIRC? And Dracula is Romanian, Vlad Dracule Impaler

Oda would make Nami be the most important in that way too then, I thought it would be Vivi but Vivi and Nami do have the same face and were extremely close with each other, I wonder where Oda could go with this?

Oh thats a really interesting twist, Ive never seenm that come up but I'd love that somehow, Nami having Mihawk as her father would be extremely cool and could make her and Perona honanary sisters too which I'd also love especially too.
