God tiers usually shit on several top tiers at once so what difference would it make if Shiryu is a low, mid or high top tier? The gap between BB and Shiryu would still be too large.

I don't really remember stating Magellan is above all Commanders but even if I did, this would make him YC1+ because Ben and Shiryu are clearly far stronger now.

Yeah I guess we just have to wait for the Shiryu stuff, but I still believe he'll be a high top tier. Even if BB is considerably above that, that's fine, since Zoro's opponents are typically blatantly inferior to the main villain anyway. Doesn't mean Shiryu won't be a beast. As for Magellan, I'd say he's equal to Queen or maybe King at the most. And that's pretty great considering how highly I think of those two.

I'm being generous with that rating especially since I never had very high hopes for Magellan but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt for once.

Shiryu doesn't really need to be high top tier, that's far above his paygrade but his advanced invisible hax would still be a threat to a lot of top tiers. That's why mid top tier at best. For now. Magellan is definitely above Queen as he low or mid diffed Ivankov. Again, unlike Doffy and Jozu, Ivankov legitimate lost against Magellan in a 2vs1 and Ivankov is at least Queen level. King is more difficult-

That's why portrayal is important next to feats because otherwise, you have a clear misjudgement to strong characters like Magellan who were true pts powercreep victims despite them destroying opponents left and right. years back), so I'm not sure how reliable it is. Plus we don't even know how strong Shiryu was at the time. But anyway, yeah, when we get down to brass tacks all that matters to me is Magellan getting better feats. I have no problem putting him on the level of the strongest commanders if he just gets better feats (especially if he has great Haki). Nah, Ace was an example but you could also take Crocodile as an example. But in all cases, all those characters suffered from pts powercreep. I mean, it is what it is but it's such a weird way to downplay Magellan's power to vet level at best when he actually took shots against Ivankov. Believe me, Magellan was glazed enough. He'll at least show CoO and hardening at the next moment.
As for Shiryu, I already see him as a low top tier, maybe mid top tier at his peak. But high top tier? Sorry, it needs more than fighting Zoro and obtaining the invisible fruit. Why do you guys inflate Zoro's opponents so much that it wouldn't make sense at all? High top tiers are Yonko, Admirals and all the other legends...
