frenzied flame ending is the "evil" ending but it's the most unique
also if you accidentally activate the conditions, you have to do it unless you fight a cool superboss

Frenzied flame ending is peak.
But be warned, the area required to get through before unlocking that ending is harder than a shardbearer boss fight.

@Blackbeard honestly it took me more tries to get to that area than any boss other than Malenia, but I was underleveled

When was the most difficult boss game for you? I was hyped for General Radahn, but with the help of others I defeated him in the first attempt But it seems to be stronger in DLC

i only fought the pre patch version of the final dlc boss

they buffed the scadutree fragments, and they changed the ai/hitboxes of Gaius and the hippo

Nah I would say current Consort is a more fun fight although Malenia has better presentation.
Post double slash adjustment Consort has nothing that's as oppressive as close range WFD.
I also don't think his AI is as tricky, Malenia has some super fast attacks/input reads she can do if you're next to her while Consort's AI is fairly straightforward.
Most of Consort's difficulty is just his speed/relentlessness.

Basically I’d say Consort is more relentless but Malenia is trickier if that makes sense

@EmperorKinyagi how do the hardest dlc bosses outside of Consort compare to the toughest base game bosses in difficulty and quality?

It’s hard for me to gauge because I’ve done a bunch of playthroughs and have muscle memory for a lot of move-sets. I remember Maliketh taking forever first playthrough but I usually get him first or second try now.
