@Owl Ki I've seen videos of even Grizzly Bears taking a few rifle shots until they are killed. Regular guns are almost ineffective against them. A headshot? Would not be that possible due to their thick skull. Now imagine a Polar Bear who's even stronger than a Grizzly.

Hippos kill more people than any other animal in Africa (aside from, like, insects carrying diseases), polar bears can hunt humans with the same enthusiasm for any another source of food. Lol.

@God Buggy I think you're pretty fucked if a Bear is hungry and attacks you. Without a weapon or anything similar, you're done... and with done, I mean you're done when the bear is done eating you. Yep, they eat you alive. I'd rather be killed by big cats such as Leopards, Mountain Lions, Lions or Tigers.
The Hippo will attack, bite and rip you apart as well.

So I wouldn't like to be in either situation where I have to face a hungry bear or an angry Hippo. The thing is, Hippos can get easily angry. They're highly territorical as well.

When it comes to bears, grizzly bears, you might have a chance if it's a mommy bear and attacks you out of being provoked. You can play dead whilst staying in a position to protect your neck and your belly. But if it's hungry, good luck. Polar Bears fuck you up anyway because they mainly eat meat.

Idk how many grizzlies are needed. One is definitely not enough, although I've seen a video how a grizzly broke a moose's back with a single palm. But Hippos are on a different league in terms of power.

A family member knew an African bloke from Gambia that travelled to Scotland for a while. The two wildlife he said were feared most in the region were hippos first and foremost then hyenas.

He could take out some smaller big cats with injuries - it's still a death battle tho - but every Lion or Tiger will fuck him up. I recall how a guy killed a mountain lion with his bare hands.
