That's a plausible reason. One I have more credibility in is Kata hype. King and Kata are both likely weaker than Beckman, Shiryu and Marco, so those who bought into Kata's hype would place Kata above King as they reject Kata being the weakest YC 1.

ye, one might think that kata > king because first yc1 luffy defeated > first yc1 zoro defeated, because of main character reasons.
