He’s said one too many fucking stupid ass things that I don’t agree with at all lmfao. Spreading misinformation and mistranslations disguised by high production value. The serious lore sources (Smough, Hawkshaw, Lokey) are actually giving serious lore, Vaati is just out there to spread a complete casual’s understanding of the lore, ripe with misinformation and inaccuracies.

Trusting Vaati for lore is like trusting Wikipedia for information. It may be trustworthy as a quick reference, and what you may find on Wikipedia is largely accurate, but for serious deeper understanding Wikipedia is of no value.

My favorite source of Vaati retardation is when he claimed that Lothric and Lorian had already defeated the soul of cinder in one of his DS3 videos. Just, what the fuck. That shit came from absolutely nowhere and is the opposite of accurate.

The Nameless King stayed loyal to Gwyn up until the point of his death, and even after Gwyn’s death, NK stayed in Anor Londo to inherit the sunlight and honor his father’s legacy. Which is factually incorrect. Even after Hawkshaw released his videos correcting the issue, Vaati is still here to spread misinformation like a complete grifting idiot
