I always viewed admirals as top tiers but man, Greenbull's introduction when he fodderized King and Queen, Kuzan having a boxing match with Old Garp and Kizaru struggling off WSG with minor injuries while he was mentally nerfed to the point that he was losing his shit on Akainu, all of that exceeded my highest expectations for them.

Don't forget that none of the Admirals went all out. There is still Punk Hazard and I never expected to see 5 billion berry Akainu but here we are.
Prime Gaban is comparable to Rayleigh but so are the Admirals. If you ask me whether I believe that an Admiral loses to the nr 3 of the Roger pirates, I'd definitely disagree.
