Unless Hara fucks over historical spoilers by having Riboku run away to Chu or Qi; blud will just be the Kaido of the series, AKA stepping stone before the big boys enter.

Yeah.
Considering the huge number of chapters between Zhao defeat and end of manga, it's already generous enough for Riboku to say only Kouen will surpass him as an antagonist.
Though I still have Renpa/EoS SHK above him.

I don’t think Riboku will fall before chapter 1000 (at the very least)
And I doubt the manga will last over chapter 1300/1400
For 1000 chapters Riboku has been the main antagonist of the show

I think the manga easily goes 1400+ unless Hara changes his mind on taking it up to the Han Dynasty, but I doubt that'll be the case since he's doing a lot of post-unification set up. But the unification itself still has bigger wars on the way than Shukai. But we'll see how Hara treats the final battle of Zhao another Shukai or shorter arc.

@God Buggy based on current info, Riboku and Renpa. Based on my assumptions about where SHK will peak at where I think Kouen is, I'd take the Chu duo. I legitimately believe Kouen will be the best on-field general of the series till date. And SHK should imo peak out above Renpa...

What's the chapter per year ratio for Hara?
He's pretty consistent with weekly chapters. Let's say out of the 52 weeks in a year, he does 40 which is a low estimate; it equals 40 chapters per year
So once he reaches 60, probably around his retirement, we will have a at least 400 chapters at hand.

Yeah I think 40 chapters per years is fair given in 20 y he drew 800
With 400 more chap you « only » have 1242 chapters in total
And Riboku is far from being down right now. So at least 100 chapters minimum before Riboku downfall, let’s say we are at or close to 1000.
So « only » 250/300 chapters for the rest of the story

@God Buggy Yea I agree on that. Atleast in terms of just battlefield, the campaign/politics stuff is more nuanced so don't want to jump the gun on that one way or another without knowing what Ouki/Renpa did in their primes and of course Kouen's accomplishments.

I'd assume the assistants that have been working with him for a long time have better art understanding than that one. Not to mention shit for all we know some of his assistants got better art than Hara himself, considering Hara himself has gone through multiple art evolutions course of the series. So its all about just how long he wants to go at it.

And based on his interview... that's all the way to the rise of Liu Bang. Now tbf those could be done in 20-chapter rushed arcs, but idk if he would rush the rise of Liu Bang, since atleast imo, he's a more important figure than Ei Sei. He's hyped up Liu Bang in the manga and spoke about him in interviews so.. yea. I think we got 2 more decades of KINGDOM atleast.
