BlackbeardWhen Kouen's time starts, it will be revealed that the undefeated Hakuki has in fact, suffered a lose that was the only one he ever had against Kouen.
And him suiciding will be revealed because Qin higher ups covered that lose against Kouen and wanted Hakuki to fight wars again but he refused.
Peak if Hara ever knew it.
BlackbeardI imagine Renpapa revealing that to hype up Kou En later.
God BuggyLord damn, would Hara put his hands on Hakuki like that?
@Elder Lee Hung had mentioned Chousha being victim to Shouheikun, which would already be insane enough.
Though if Renpa is shown working under Kouen like you had mentioned, that would be a wild flex.
BlackbeardHakuki claiming his own life for unknown reasons always intrigued me, the fact it still is not revealed why this late in story might be because it's related to end game material.
Maybe he claimed his own life out of shame of losing to Kouen, or maybe because he was asked to fight a war without enough preparations like Ousen will during Chu conquest.
BlackbeardRemember Ousen asked the king for 600,000 to conquer Chu historically yet king went with Shin's decision of 200,000 and they got negged by Kouen, prompting Ousen to permanently leave the Qin army until Ei Sei begged him.
Maybe something comparable happened to Hakuki. Especially knowing Hakuki and Ousen has been noted to be fairly similar by Renpa.
God BuggyThat's a really interesting idea. He could also have been stalled by a younger Ordo.
BlackbeardMy guy had to sneak in some Ordo wank lol.
SakazOuki“King Sho asked Hakuki a second time but he refused again. As Hakuki said it, he would rather be executed for refusing the King's order than lose his undefeated streak.”
SakazOukiThe same minister who convinced Sho to send the Qin armies back from Kantan, warned Sho of Hakuki's potential betrayal. Fearing Hakuki would end up joining another state, Sho sent Hakuki a knife (meaning kys)
God Buggy“King Sho asked Hakuki a second time but he refused again. As Hakuki said it, he would rather be executed for refusing the King's order than lose to 'Hobopa'."
