OPM authors care so much for powerscaling that they redid the Phoenix man fight like 4 times. It was a bit too much even for me who loves powerscaling.

Rurouni Kenshin has great scaling and fights but tbf it's a lot more grounded like the first response said. OPM was great, HxH great, Naruto was decent but victim to MC tax, all the akatsuki members suffered bs losses.

Hidan's was great storytelling, purely powerscaling wise it's just a bit unbelievable that Shikamaru managed to evade point blank and drop a tiny drop of blood on the tip of his spear so precisely. The real bs one was Kakuzu, completely ruined the battle.

Kisame's defeat was horseshit not as much from a powerscaling perspective but it was just not serious. Naruto and Bee treated Kisame like they were at a retreat. Zero tension, and then Gai was shooting out bijuu bombs and calling it Taijutsu. This is when I first thought Naruto might be cooked for real.
