BlackbeardI'm just upset Tou got early retirement with a garbage reason.
Jumping and sacrificing his back for the Han bitch hurt me as much as Xebec drooling over the Street Treasure.
It doesn't help I read both chapters within same week...
Elder Lee Hung@Blackbeard i don’t think that’s actually why he retired, he was needed in Han to help assimilate them into Qin. Historically this is where Tou’s time as a general also ended so there’s that as well.
BlackbeardIt does historically say that Tou's military career ends after Han conquest, what I'm complaining about is Hara's own reasoning for it.
Instead of breaking his back to save a princess, we could've actually gotten an extreme diff Tou vs Yoko Yoko in which Tou slays him but suffers career ending injury in the process.
Elder Lee HungOn the one hand maybe, on the other hand YOGOAT deserves better. Lol
I think Tou may have retired even if not for his injury. Tou believes in unifying China more than he believes in being a great general, and Han is by far the most important territory to unify properly since it sets a precedent that all of the other states are watching closely.
Elder Lee HungI think Tou could maybe still fight on the battlefield even with a bad back if he wanted to, though maybe his career would end sooner than otherwise.
BulletIt's not about the destination but how you get there.
Tou could have retired after having an i tense battle where we see the limit of his tactics and martial abilities not another retarded fight where Shin does 90% of the job while Tou never gets serious and then jumps off a tower to get injured.
Tou should have lost an arm or something in a fight and then kill the opponent to win the war.
