Kizaruber EatsYeah man, I used to be a hard-core fan but I barely am a fan now lol. Team fortress 2, portal 2, left 4 dead 2 and dota 2 were my biggest loves. Not so much anymore though.
Kizaruber EatsI absolutely love steam though. Considering getting a steam deck but I'm desperate for a switch 2 now too.
Blax BlahWhat's goin on mate, my name's Sassy, Sassy the sasquatch
Oh alrighty, official workshop support was added to Half Life 2 and I had almost 500 workshop mods on it, I installed the regular game which was a few GB in size, but when I looked at the steam downloads page there were 50 GBs of mods LOL
Awesome what do you think about the steam deck compared to other PC handhelds and the switch 2?
Blax BlahI think a switch 2 would be cool but when I think about an actual handheld PC with all my PC things on it I would really really rather have that
And I think I would like something stronger than the steam deck but I really like the Linux part of it, hopefully there is a steam deck 2 soona
There's definitely some other hardware coming soon like in the next few months apparently though and it's very cool and exciting
Kizaruber EatsOh yes i keep forgetting to try hl2 with the workshop support now! I never expected hl2 to get it! People will make their own hl3 in it lmao.
I've still yet to play through episodes 1 and 2 after beating hl2 but I got spoiled on episode 2 ending and what I saw really upset and disgusted me.
Kizaruber EatsLmao 50gb of mods, I've got that much more or less for another game so I can relate haha. Almost 500 mods installed though?! BRUH!
Yeah with how much of much needed success the Deck has been I see a 2nd much better Deck incoming eventually especially as Switch 2 exists too. Since it's valve never expect a steam Deck 3 though lmao.
Blax BlahThere are a lot of cool mods like Mr Bean as Alyx Vance, added weapon mods, replace a character model with an anime character, maps, change the textures, add in models like the Half Life Alyx gloves
Kizaruber EatsSome other hardware huh? Interesting, I wonder what it could be? They've already done VR? There was the steam machines but these were a huge flop.
I've heard they're working on their own Steam based operating system though too.
