Blax BlahThey are making a new VR headset, which btw if you count the Vive, I guess this would be their third headset lol, a new steam machine, and maybe a new steam controller
Kizaruber EatsOoooh wow nice! Valve is really getting serious about this! A tablet or phone might be cool too lol. Steam everything! Steam cleaner oh wait.
Steam engine? Lolol.
Ah yeah I heard about tf2 classic. I wish they could just open up workshop support to maps regardless and especially put tf2 on source 2, never mind actually making a sequel gaben forbid sigh.
Kizaruber EatsWe seriously need a tf3 with more classes, female playable characters, more of a story, ultimate abilities, perks etc.
OkamakamaDotA2 taught me Russian slurs. I will forever be grateful for the 3500 hours I spent on that game, lmao.
Blax BlahI think I like Juggernaut but I don't really get the game
Kizaruber EatsIt's extremely complex and challenging @Blax Blah it would literally take hundreds of hours to learn never mind get good at and that's way before they made the game immensely bigger and more complex now. I've played like 6000 hours over 12 years and I struggle to keep up now. It's way too big, complex, confusing and overwhelming. Extremely oversaturated.
Okamakama@Blax Blah my recommendation is to not play it. Did I like it? Yeah. I was even pretty good at it once, but it gets more complicated every year... all guides I learned from are now obsolete.
It brings astounding highs but also crushing lows...
Kizaruber EatsYeah it's extremely toxic and addictive too. Way too try hard even for casual play.
OkamakamaExactly. I became obsessed with it. If I sold all my cosmetics I could probably net a couple grand. It is obscene how much I loved that game. Despite it I will never advise someone takes it up. As you said, you cannot play it casually.
Kizaruber EatsI sold all my cosmetics and I don't regret it tbh. I call Dota defense of the abuse/addiction. Tf2 is much more fun and sillier. Even league of legends has jumped the shark especially for various reasons including heroes with passives and skills far longer and more convoluted than they ever should be. You would think I designed them then SMH.
OkamakamaI considered selling mine, but I do not game enough anymore to warrant it. It wpuld be wasted money. Might as well let the value inflate for a bit.
Game is definitely overdesigned now though. Shame :(
Kizaruber EatsAye fair enough lol. The longer a game lives on for the more stupidly complex it becomes.
Blax BlahHey man in a few months when the Valve Deckard releases you might want to sell the cosmetics and buy one with the money from them, you could either enjoy the best VR headset there is, or get it delivered to you and then sell it to get the money back
Learning math and physics very well and helping many other people would take way less time than learning dota 2 would, there is a base about it I like, but if I'm going to get crushed by a high skill ceiling, I might as well do it in a science field where once I overcome I can use the skill for a lot of good, plus again it would take way way way less time to get good at that
OkamakamaCorrect. Besides being good at DotA has not helped me much except rapid problem solving. No point going down that rabbit hole. Do something productive instead. ♡
Kizaruber EatsFinalbeta would be very happy to hear that actually lol. I used to love science too so I can only recommend it. It can be really fun and fascinating to learn, very challenging, open ended and creative. Experimental naturally.
I knew plenty of girls who loved math but I never saw much of the appeal especially all the complex equations, graphs and such. Solving sums is nice but math was always hell to me.
