Okay.. I wasn't familiar with your game! I wasn't convinced by the transformation of Nika and Jesus, but you got me with the "IC XC NIKA" which seems to be connected to victory or conquest. It seems to be a very hopefull symbol and it completely works. This is not a bad interpretation at all. I could see Oda taking a part of inspiration in this for Nika (the fumes on his back are rather inspired by ancient jp gods)

Not sure about the ressurection and life , I feel a bit of a stretch, (even tho it's a very interesting theory that need to be worked on ((actually this would confirm what I think about Luffy's power, but rather than "Life" or "resurrection" I would rather call this "manifestation")) ) The part on the transformation is also very interesting, I didn't know that

Yeah I mean Nika literally looks like Jesus' transformation that has been public knowledge for almost 2000 years, he's a deity who sets people free, and with a person who has devil symbols as their enemy

Technically, it's not just demon, it's outcasts, demons & monsters. All mugi are a representation:
Luffy is Sun Wukong the chaos loving Monkey King
Zoro is Ashura, the King of Hell and Demon of wrath
Nami is a scientific witch and a black cat (she has been called both)
Sanji is Lucifer, the outcasted son

I get that but the people who call themselves gods are actually pretty satanic and their leader is so far just a blob of darkness with lots of demonic imagery and symbols, plus Imu's throne room is called hell

So I think it's a play on false gods, celestial dragons and Imu, compared to the real deity, Nika

Oda uses the demonic imagery to assert the position of outcast of the strawhats . This could also be a way for him to say that the real demons are not necessarily the ones we think.

After all, the D clan (the clan of the D shaped moon it seems) is the clan that is the natural enemy of the gods. It's logical, symbolicaly, to make all those people, demonic entities
