A general haki burst, but Oda highlighted it being channeled through his sword? Also, it hitting only Ryokugyu and nobody else near him? This is clearly something different than the general CoC bursts we have seen so far.

Was it really channelled through it? I saw his hand on his sword's hilt but thought it was more of a gesture.
I think it was targeted towards Ryokugyu because Shanks can control his haki that much. But tbh even Luffy and co felt the haki iirc. Ryokugyu just took the brunt since it was aimed at him.
I guess we'll see when Oda feeds him his next victim.
