I do agree with Kinyagi that weapon upgrades are massively more important for damage than stats, however getting one shot constantly would mentally break me. Lol

@Blackbeard yeah a very popular RL1 load out is the star fists or iron balls to farm stance breaks. Fists have the fastest charge R2s relative to the stance damage.
A lot of people will also consider a run invalid if you use them lmao.

You can’t get the DS1 DLC Key without putting down the Lord Vessel right? So you would have to kill Ornstein and Smough right? Otherwise the Duke’s Archives are locked off by Gwyn

@Elder Lee Hung even getting one shot can be negated at RL1, you can stack the ritual shield talisman (caps the amount of damage you take at full hp) with wondrous tears, consumables, etc to become tanks af

All of which will make purists consider your run invalid lol

Nothing beats breaking Bayle's stance and slamming his ass with the glaive despite how painful it is.

I played around with nightrider flail, one of the lowest bleed buildup weapons and it made Bayle comically easier.

I wonder if someone already made poise break RL1 run before. Best I have seen is Ongbal on Youtube.

Elden Ring combat would have peaked so hard had the poise damage been buffed and the deflect tear been an actual mechanic or talisman.
