FT was a great poster lmfao. One of the best. What year was this? Because 2013 onwards I was always in the VS section. Might've argued with you, Zex and EBJ about 30%, Samehada-less Kisame beating Kakuzu or Hidan (individually).

The thing with the Vs section was most debaters would have a couple of faves, and those were the only characters they could or would debate for. It personalized things a lot but at the same time I didn't feel people were objective enough, that dude Kidgamer was like one of the only ones who was trying to be as objective as possible. But I guess that's why it was so fun for y'all, you had characters that you repped

It was good/bad. If it came down to Naruto now, I feel like I'd be able to debate with anyone but the god tiers. Mostly because I stopped caring about the manga / scaling for them. But arguing with a character you know real well versus someone who knows their character real well? Good way to know that character too. Even the one's I didn't like, such as Kakashi or Minatard.

The whole cliques with characters was fun though, not gonna lie. You had like five fanboys for each Kage tier character trying to make the most out of their repertoire, egging on other fandoms lmao. KG was one of the few back then that did know every character - which killed the zone, real fast.

if people thought OJ was cancer later on, they should have seen NB during that time period. All you ever heard was Lord Crow, Lord Sasuke, etc. mans were worshipping characters on that joint lmao. Ofcourse Zoro vs Sanji debate matches pretty much any cancer that ever existed though, been talking One Piece (multiple forums)for years now, and that's the one constant. It matches any Itachi vs Minato if not surpasses it.

Not gonna lie, I was guilty of that. Not for the Uchiha's, I never got deep into those bigger fandom debates. Couldn't care less about them. Lmao, you had Sasuke Solos and Sasuke Six Pack running around acting worse than any Zoro fan / Sanji fan on this site, by a wide margin. Their objective wasn't even to argue but to piss you off with so much Uchiha wank

Zoro/Sanji is so much bigger IMO. We had a greater degree of toxicity because there were more characters to wank and fanboy over, but Z/S stands the test of time. Late 2013, Minato was the clear winner and most Itachi fans stopped. But S/Z still goes on. It's like a long lasting cancer that isn't as intense, but has major spikes from time to time

Thing is OJ had a rampant Sanji fanbase, so Zoro vs Sanji was actually insane compared to what it is here. Atleast when I was still active.

I remember 2016 / early 2017 OJ being really competitive with numbers, but they started dropping like flies the longer WCI went on. Not that I blame them.
