Mihawk is a ass character that only lives by attachement to zoro (see pop polls) and oda is aware of that. He gonna not make him look bad before he fights zoro so soon. I personally think he just gonna kill bumgoku cause the rest are too important or not strong enough. Like whats he gonna do one shot the sixth strongest supernova or what?

@Shiroyru next island being either laughtale or loadstar and given the statement in Mihawks intro arc it would be narrativly poor if luffy became pk before zoro became wss so the duel needs to happen before or on laughtale which seems 1-2 arcs away

The increasingly obvious realization that like other Shonen authors, Oda cares very little about his side cast in the end game, and the fact that Oda created too many characters for him to actually do much with all of them, with Mihawk being a major example

Eh i mean i do think the maincast is the exception too, i think the final arc will have the biggest moment with the SHs. youu can say its cope/wrong but i do think so. Also depending on the characters i think the argument that every Sh/side characters are are sidelined is bias. I recently re-read all of it and damaji or marines as side characters are way less and the manga and relevant pre-ts for example

Zoro fighting Mihawk soon would be a massive L for the Zboy agenda. They desperately want Mihawk to be his last opponent because they know there’s no possible way to push EoS Zoro ~ EoS Luffy if Zoro is going extreme diff with Janitor or Nusjuro while Luffy is fighting BB or Imu

No one beside loonies like nik believe that mihawk vs zoro will be in the final arc bro, like i litterarly not seen 1 zoro fan that i take halfway seriously even here, it just crux and nik of my memory. Like even fenaker said to me its clear his not the final fight

Respect the humble janitor. They do their work quietly and for little money, but society needs them. Shiryu is borderline lord title worthy, man broke through Garps Haki, and kept order to Impel down for years. That´s a lot more then Cuckeye ever did

It´s a bit of a shame, this is the only arc we´ve gotten a bit of development from Shanks, instead of him just acting le badass 24/7

That meeting will never happen in that way. Think about from a meta perspective. Shanks will meet luffy only when he is a great pirate, right? And thats also the condition for giving him back the hat. Are you really believing Goofy is not gonna have the strawhat? Lmao. That meeting is predestinied to never happen or Luffy find/meet a dying shanks

The stuff with the Barto Club was done to set up a future meeting of Shanks and Luffy. They Oda specifically focused on the burning mast of Luffy when Barto’s ship got blown up
