Cinera@Fiji: the evidence is too much. If Zoro doesn't fight Kaido after everything, then Oda was deliberately trolling an entire fanbase.
CineraI expect Zoro to give Kaido a new scar, but if Oda wants to perfectly recreate the legend of a second Ryuma, the Zoro wouls behead hybrid/dragon Kaido over the Flower Capital.
CineraI don't buy it because Oda has been setting up Luffy to do the lion's share of the work, and we should have a strong prior that Luffy lands the final blow as he's done so in all but one arc so far in the series.
CineraZoro's chances of landing the final blow seem to be less than 20%. I'd go with somewhere around 5%, but if you really made the Ryuma/Dragon Slaying case very well, it could be as high as 10% I guess.
CineraI might revise my estimate upwards on future evidence I guess. The main thing I'm looking for is hints that Oda will establish a legend of Zoro as thd second Ryuma in Wano.
CineraI liked your 4 beasts theory with Zoro, Momo, Orochi, amd Kaido but left it out because it's very speculative and far from as compelling as the other stuff I mentioned.
CineraThere's also the Sanji - WCI parallels, but I chose not to mention it either, due to similar ambiguity.
FijiSounds great! Some pieces of evidence are definitely not as concrete as others, but I find it hard to ignore even the very little ones because there is just so much. Even if they're not so compelling, the mere fact that there is over 40/50 instances that can be used as evidence is very compelling in of itself.
FijiThe Hour of the Tiger, the Thriller Bark / Wano parallels, the "Enma that splits the earth to the bottom of hell", the fact that Hiyori is the first damsel in distress of an arc that Zoro was acquainted with rather than Luffy who usually acquaints with them and saves their homeland (Vivi, Rebecca, Nami).
