I feel like, any form of fiction is enjoyed best alone with your own understanding as long as you enable yourself to be rational and critical, which can be biased. I guess as long as you are staying true to the story and its moral.

This is what I try to do most of the time for all stories. I have a system that allows me to avoid expectations and maximize the enjoyment. This is how I can still adore reading One Piece while stayin here. (mostly, I avoid powerscaling, I create the best condition of reading possible, I avoid theories to the max, and I expect as little things as possible unless the story demands it)
