the pandemic situation still hasn't gotten that much better in the last few months but most American that I've seen seem to purposely forget about it and act like everything is back to normal (which its not); I keep seeing people I know on their social media brag about going to parks, picnics and whatnot and it kinda irks me. The same goes for the majority (70%+) of people at my university who seem eager to return to campus, as well as the university itself. They're also making everyone sign a waiver agreement of sorts that basically says catching the virus within the campus is on the students rather than the university and that they can't be sued if someone dies
