@Natalija What’s the point, though? I have no lessons worth imparting, and it’s getting tiresome to say something in a thread and know EXACTLY what kind of response I’ll get AND from who before I even hit the Post button. I’ll lurk, sure, and talk to folks I like, but I can feel what direction the wind is blowing.

this is the reason why I usually only make the episode thread and then dip/disappear for the rest of the week lol. But you don't have to always be around the discussion threads, you always got us here in the profile posts. We'll always be here for ya :)

@RobertoTheOharaSurvivor A damn fine idea from a damn fine man...maybe it’s just early onset break week fatigue (something you anime watchers normally don’t have to deal with), but things feel so stale and bitter in the manga section, which is still the one I most often patronize.

Guess that’s the main problem I’m having - after two decades of One Piece, we really don’t have much left unsaid. Some people love having the same arguments with the same participants every God damn day, but as devoted as I am to this series and wanna follow it to the end, I almost wish it hadn’t lasted long enough that I’ve come to loathe certain things about it and the audience.

Nah i do read the manga regularly but I keep those discussions on reddit lol, I find it to be a bit more positive there in terms of discussing the manga. But in general though, I just read the manga chapter and move on with the rest of my day

My boy @Jew D. Boy take all the time off you need. Distancing from forum fandom sourness can help refresh some fans' enjoyment of the series. It'll suck if you're less active, but do what you gotta do.

I feel ya man, I had the exact same problem a few days ago. The thing with us is that when we discuss OP or any other manga related subject, we like to think the receiver would have a similar if not even higher level of mentality regarding logic, constructive criticism or even a polite level of speech... the fact is, some ppl are just not programmed this way ... seek the people who admire you not the ones who refuse.
