Well Beckman ~ Shanks, so he is comparable to a MF Admiral (no awakening) doesn't sound so farfetched afterall..
I mean the weakest Yonko just happen to have the strongest YC1, of course their gap must be the closest.

if Shanks end up being weakest Yonko (4th strongest man) with strongest crew ... that's still bad ass and logical ....
but I guess you better wait before try to downplay Shanks ... :)
Ben is a high diff for Shanks (so as any admiral)
while other YC1 are low diff to their captain ....

Well, imo the gap between a Yonko and their YC1 is more or less like this:
Shanks and Beckman: close to no gap.
Kaido and King: medium gap
Big Mom and Katakuri: big gap.
2 DF Teach and Shiliew: the biggest gap.

depend of how strong Ben Beckman is tbh ....
I still think Shanks and Beckman is around high diff ... comparable is not equal
Kaido and King? maybe .... but I still would go with low diff
