Aah, I expect Kidd to outperform Law. As for Zoro, he's been setup to play a pivotal role in Kaido's defeat (Yasuie's words about no one being able to take Kaido's head, receiving Enma and surpassing Oden, Kaido's words about never again seeing a "monster samurai" of Oden's calibre, second Ryuma, dragon slaying, Zoro's words about coming to "slice him into pieces", etc.) I have a thread on it.

As for Kidd, I'm not going to assume that he outperforms Zoro just because I think he's Luffy's most formidable Supernova rival. Especially when outperforming Zoro requires Kidd to defeat Big Mom which has nothing going for it in story.

Alternatively, Law actually outperformed Zoro in Dressrosa, but then he had far more plot relevance and importance in that arc. Zoro has been the deuteragonist of Wano.

Zoro's prominence and importance in Wano has been second only to Luffy. Kidd is just much less important as a character in this arc. Giving Kidd's diminished role compared to Zoro, there's not much cause to expect him to outperform Zoro.

If you're only reason for Kidd to be stronger than Zoro is expecting him to defeat Big Mom, well that's even more unlikely than Zoro killing Kaido.

a lot of how I and most kidd fans will argue for kidd def doesnt have the evidence yall have for zoro hurting or playing a major role against kaido this arc .
tbh with the big mom plot
I will wait on how she participates in the early chapters. she wasnt only interested in luffy tho that was a mistranslation. in the viz she wanted all their heads .

Well, I'm not ultra confident Zoro > Kidd. My list above had them in the same bracket. That's just me hedging on the possibility that I'm wrong though, I still think it's more likely that Zoro outperforms. But it's not implausible that Kidd shows him up.

Oda could have Kidd be responsible for defeating Big Mom while Zoro plays second fiddle to Luffy in the Kaido fight. It's not what I think will happen, but I wouldn't give it under 10% chances.

I think both Luffy = Zoro and Kidd > Zoro are unlikely. I'm obviously very biased on this topic, and inside view I lean closer to Luffy = Zoro than Kidd > Zoro.
