I like your characterisation of Hancock. Being a Tsundere fits her better than a dere dere. I think you nailed her haughtiness/arrogance well.

Thanks Cinera! I think Hancock has a lot of potential that gets squandered by canon or authors flanderising her feelings for Luffy. I wanted to do both hers and Mihawk’s characters justice and make the pairing believable.

I’d be interested to see what you think of the pairing after you read my fic. Most people don’t even consider Mihawk in the realms of suitable partners for Hancock and I honestly don’t know why.

I especially love how you handled her vulnerability. That aspect of her character has been something I feel you've nailed perfectly.

Haha, you picked it up! I wanted it to be ambiguous as to what Mihawk meant, but I do think he is in some ways jealous that Shanks chose Luffy over their rivalry.

Thanks a lot man! Hancock is done dirty by canon, if you cut out the Luffy obsession there's a lot to work with character wise.

You really drove home how pointlessly cruel the Celestial Dragons are. It's one of the world building elements of One Piece I dislike.
