I am but a humble hotel receptionist at a very small hotel, hehe. It's relatively quiet now before the storm, the coming week there's an entire pack of people coming lmao.

Working in a hotel has always seemed fairly nice, at least from the outside! I imagine you get plenty of asshole travelers, and a job is a job regardless, but I bet it beats the data entry/medical coding bullshit I do...

I'm very quite new to the scene, so I don't have a lot of experience in general, but I've not met any difficult guests yet, hehe.
But I enjoy it enough to want to keep on working there at least for the time being! :P
I really knew that it was within the genre of travel I wanted to work, Hotel seemed like a nice start, and I was really lucky to land a job there especially in these times lmao

Well, you absolutely have the personality and temperament for it, as far as I can tell by how you act here! Is the dream to run your own hotel someday, or do you see yourself changing lanes down the road?

Asking very good questions you are! I'm quite sure that hotel is not the ultimate goal of mine, however I'm more interested in guest houses/ Hostels. While they're similar in nature, Hotels are really formal and more often than not comes with quite a price tag.
I find that Guest houses and Hostels are more suited for travelers, it's more open natured with good areas to hang out to socialize!
