BleakAshi haven't read it but i notice the art when i come across it. i have my eyes fixed on it.. with berserk as well
Seems unique when it comes to the realm of swordsmanship and not fictitiously mystical... well its just an initial opinion anyway..
As someone who admires zoro's pride as a swordsman.. just makes me wonder.. thats actually what piqued my interest

BallelHighly reccomending Vagabond!
The 'swordsman pride' thing is a theme throughout the story. Musashi's growth both as a swordsman and a humam being is beautiful to watch, also involving philosophy.
There's a focus on both internal development of various characters and their relationships as well as badass, and I mean, very well choreographed and meaningful fights.
And of course the art is stunning.

BallelYou should really get into Vagabond.
It has been on hiatus for some years now but the author has announced that he will finish the last chapters in the near future.
There is just one, max two arcs left.
BleakAshThat is pleasing to hear, i might start sooner than i thought, it may be my naruto to other gems out there, if yiu don't get the analogy then its basically that if i hadn't watched naruto and if it wasn't worth it... i wouldn't have dared to touch one piece it would just be a well exaggerated and overhyped story... which i now binged in 3 months straight.
B
BallelAbout mystical, there are some 'spiritual' elements, but not to the point you can call it a fantasy manga.
BleakAshyea i get it, its most probably like intense focus like breath of all things.. and becoming one with sword constructs
B
BallelHm, how do you mean that about your analogy with Naruto and One Piece? I can't follow you there
BleakAshwhat i meant was that initially naruto was this over hyped over elongated story to me, well atleast until i tried it out, then i realized that quality can equate quantity too sometimes after watching naruto so i learned not to underestimate long running stories...
My core problem with manga is i read it but ironically haven't had 1 completed yet at all coz its either i don't get attached or gained enough motivation
BleakAsh- to continue, for example i recently started tokyo ghoul I'm 10 chapters in but thats it, ig comprehension here is key but idk why it sometimes burden you when you push it , and then there is the problem of making manga a habit. Yes if u haven't guessed I'm relatively new to manga
BleakAshso yea if Vagabond is to give me that push.. it would be appreciated time a zillion
B
BallelAh, I see.
It might be different with Vagabond then. The storyline is fixed to a degree since it is based on actual historical events.
It is not a loud , colorful manga.
