I think it would be a waste, tbh. He's a cunning and intelligent character with a powerful fruit, which gives him a lot of potential.

Even he didn't die, it's hard to see him being relevant after Wano but considering that he's a D and can give immortality all, I hope he'll play big role in the Final War

The theory of him sacrificing his life for Luffy is lame ngl

I just can't see someone like Law laying down his life for Luffy. Sure, they were in an alliance, but he has his own plans and purpose
