Infinite time is postulated in some theoretical frameworks such as the multiverse idea in Many Worlds Interpretation or the cyclic universe repeating itself. In general I feel like we humans tend to possibly overrate our capabilities, we struggle with concepts such as infinity but Mother Nature doesn't necessarily care about our common sense. Einstein was bewildered by Quantum Entanglement defining it as spooky.
