I know what you're looking for

Out of the top of my head:

- Kurumi Tokisaki (Date a Live)

- Kazuki Kazami (Grisaia no Kajitsu)

- Esdeath (Akame Ga Kill)

- Junko Enoshima (Danganronpa)

Not the easiest type to find around. Still one of the best types of characters if done right.

Funny thing is Kurumi is similar to Maschenny and she's my all time favourite.

I think those are pretty strong candidates for you to enjoy reading/watching.

I definitely did.

Oh, I loved Junko when I played Episode 1 of Danganropa.

Esdeath was good, but Maschenny is just so much better in every aspect?
Cinera
Cinera
She has all the good parts of Esdeath (blood knight, pretty very strong) and is manipulative, smart and an incredible schemer.
Cinera
Cinera
She also doesn't have Esdeath's flaws (overly sexualised, too one dimensional and way too obsessed with the protagonist).
Cinera

That said, I loved the Akame Ga Kill anime.

I guess I'll have to try out "Grisaia no Kajitsu" and "Date A Live".

I watched Date A Live some years back but have forgotten the plot.

Do any of your recs have mangas? I find reading an easier medium to consume for fiction.

Yes Junko is nice.

I have to agree. Esdeath has some shortcomings. Considering the overral vibe of Akame Ga Kill I wouldn't have guessed she would be obsessed with the MC.

Oh Freya from Danmachi fits the bill too.

Date a Live is good enough of a show. Grisaia is just up there.

The manga stuff:

1 - Date a Live. Light Novel. The manga didn't go far at all.

2- Grisaia. It has manga but no idea how far it went. Originally a VN.

3- Akame has manga yes as you probably know.

4- Danganronpa has manga adaptation too. Still not sure how far it went.

5- Danmachi. LN but it has manga and is still being published.

Reading Light Novels is fine as well, though manga/web comics are the easiest medium for me.

I'll try the Danmachi and Grisaia mangas.

I wish I enjoyed reading like you. I get pretty bored.

Glad to be of help :hug

Danmachi and Grisaia are awesome.

Tell me your thoughts after if you don't mind.

Reading is the most accessible medium/easiest to consume.

Manga/comics are the lowest effort books to engage with (no effort expended on imagination/visualisation).

I haven't been an avid anime watcher in like six years.
