Because Law still has a part to play in the raid, which is fight BM with Kidd. If he got fucked up by the TB then he wouldnt be able to do that.

FujishiroKidd didnt tank a single named attack from BM, he tanked fists attacks and we dont have any prior feat from Kidd to compare his current toughness to.
