ConquistadoRImo, the potential that Doffy talked about for CoC users was about the potential to unlock ACoC. I think that is what made Garp, Mihawk, the Admirals and even WB to take notice of Luffy at MFord.
Every CoC user has that potential to sit amongst the very strongest, but whether they realize it or not is up in the air. I do expect Katakuri and Doffy to eventually get a Crocodile-esque re-entry into the plotline. (1/2)

DragomirYeah, they very well could learn it if they return in the story. I think it'd be awesome if we get a mini arc of Kata overcoming his fear of his mother and takes over as captain. That could be his advCoC unlocking moment. Not sure how Doffy would get it in Impel Down though.
