@Cinera When Sanji attacks Queen he explains that Ifrit involves “seriously hardening” his leg with the armament he’d been practicing to achieve greater flames.

I do find it interesting that when Sanji first received the exoskeleton most of the takes were that they are "closer than they've ever been" and "Sanji is equal to Zoro now" but after Zoro got his own power-up via ACoC it's now suddenly "Sanji obliterates rooftop Zoro"

@Chrono @AdmiralKinyagi Yeah I don't see why Sanji wouldn't have hardening. But regarding the whole RT Zoro vs. IJ Sanji I think it is a much fairer match-up than Current Zoro vs. IJ Sanji.
As I said before, even after Sanji received his exoskeleton most Sanji fans I saw were saying that Sanji is = Zoro or ~ Zoro at that point, but after Zoro received ACoC we suddenly jump to saying Sanji would easily beat RT Zoro

@Chrono, @AdmiralKinyagi: the scan honestly looks nothing like hardening to me. It's not downplay, Oda just didn't clearly show Sanji using hardening.
