January is almost always uneventful, for me. So it's been that way. School is coming along well. I'm getting study sessions with friends done in timely and effective fashion, so I was able to get some reading in after a while.

I got a ~60% raise at work (the raise was announced December last year but it finally took effect this month), and I'm continuing to work from home, so I'm really happy/content with my work life.

My progress is exceedingly slow, but I've begun working on applying for a Masters, towards my goal of emigration this year.

I don't think I mentioned it to you. My sister and I found home jobs thanks to some connections our neighbors gave us several months back. It was honestly a blessing. Congrats on the raise.
