This is quite interesting now. I'll have to read up on it.

That last one, Mark Twain iirc, is wonderful, but not a lot of people abide by it.

Sorry for the delayed responses, I was reading some stuff about it.

No worries, it was pretty fascinating for me too. Even though online tests aren't the most reliable I'd say the general idea is there... you can also kind of tell someone's personality from the types of characters they like and the way they approach storytelling.

I agree with all of it. I assume you like Light and Lelouch as well. Check out Johan from 'Monster', he might be a bit darker that them, Dazai and Fyodor from 'Bungo Stray Dogs', and Dantalian from a Korean manhwa 'Dungeon Defense'. If you like Light and Lulu, I am sure you will at least like some of them too.

I haven't read most of these series but they sound interesting, I'll look into that. If you're still curious, check out something like this

I find this personality theory helps me understand others' thought processes better and I often see the types reflected in people I meet and know as well. Let me know what you think :)

Aye, got it. I'll check it now and get back to you. If you check some of the series I mentioned, let me know what you think.

How are you btw?

I'm good, I just finished reading Berserk and started a new job ^^ Working is so much better than uni, you don't have to worry about homework and assignments. When you're home, you can just relax.

How about you?

I heard a lot of good things about it, but never started reading it though. Congratulations on the new job. Sounds good.

I am doing good. I had to go back to uni for lectures now and it's a bit cold, however, besides that, everything else is fine. Thanks for asking.

Berserk is really good, it's sort of an epic adventure like One Piece, but better. The MC is very similar to Zoro in many ways and the art style really enhances his swordsmanship.

When do you graduate btw? Any plans for post-graduation travelling? I went to Japan last year after I finished my degree.

I've heard quite a lot about Guts. I'll have to start reading it soon. I probably haven't read it yet because I, as it can be perceived, prefer a battle of wits rather than just strength battles lol.
I am on my third year of study now. One more and I will graduate, but I plan to get a Masters degree and a PhD later on as well. I haven't really thought about travelling, but Japan would probably be on my list.

How was the trip to Japan though? Which places did you visit? I often talk to Japanese people, so I know most of the big attractions, and Akihabara is probably my favourite one, due to manga.

Wow that's a lot of studying. Do you work as well or are you a full time student? I did work during uni but it was pretty stressful lol.

Yeah Japan is awesome, there's something for everyone. Would you enjoy cultural experiences more or are you more of a shopping/theme parks kind of traveller?

I went to Kyoto, Tokyo and Osaka. Akihabara is nice for merch but it can feel a little synthetic. I prefer more cultural sites like Himeji-jo, the Philosopher's Path and Tenryuu-Ji. Visited One Piece Tokyo Tower and that was fun though.

Yeah, I know :feelsbadman:. I work, but I work from home, so I can choose when I want to work and how much, but of course my wage depends on how much I work lol. Sometimes it's too tedious lol.

Tbh, I am not a fan of travelling, but I think I'd enjoy both spheres. Maybe shopping/theme parks/manga stores would pique my interest more if I were to go to Japan.

I understand your point. Sometimes I'd probably prefer to immerse myself in the cultural background and history of a country. For example, I'd prefer visiting Egypt and seeing the pyramids, as opposed to going to beaches or whatnot.

Yeah my itinerary had a mix of both, I explored areas like Shibuya and Harajuku but I also went all-out on cultural activities in Kyoto. There are so many unique aspects of the culture like onsens and tea ceremonies that you just can't get in the West. I can't believe you don't like travelling lol, I always assumed all Millennials loved it. We value experiences over objects, generally speaking.

I guess it depends where you go. I major in Japanese studies so I really leapt at the chance to experience the culture and historical side of things. I also love the zen/Japanese landscaping aesthetic so I ended up touring a lot of traditional gardens and temples. When I went to Queensland though I went river snorkelling and kayaking. It's good to have a balance.

Having a good balance is of tremendous importance imo. Yeah, I am not that much into travelling lol. I understand that. I major in English language and literature, thus I'd enjoy visiting Britain and exploring places connected to their history and houses or whatnot of famous writers. Btw, I finished reading that text. I must say, it describes me accurately. From the instances of planning out things, correcting people

having hidden talents, being irritated if someone constantly seeks help for something I showed him how to do, hiding emotions, etc. It fits the bill lol.
