I'd say that I'd give Kyoukai a real purpose/goal from the start outside of assassin/revenge stuff. Give Kyoukai more time to explore about the meaning of war and why she chooses this path of a general. Something like that.

I don’t have a problem with the mystical elements in Kingdom, it’s Kyoukai randomly remembering that she already learned how to solve problems/randomly guessing the solution to problems that logically should not work like I detailed in the Kingdom thread that is my issue.
