KiriNigiri@Cinera Good to see you, Cinpai. And thank you. How have you been during your hiatus? I hope it's a lot better now? I've been pretty busy with finals. I've also been scoping out career positions for once I complete my term. Also secured travel plans with the beau for Dublin. This morning was great, between all the best wishes across my social media, and all the gift cards and presents that came in mail.
KiriNigiri@Cinera Happy to hear things are running smoothly again. And especially how you planned that far out. It hurts to think things aren't going well on your end. You're very bright, and I think you can offer a lot in whatever endeavor you pursue.
KiriNigiri@Cinera The Dublin trip is a family reunion, no career propsects there. I wanted to bring the beau with me to properly introduce him to the folks.
I've secured several teaching positions for secondary schools. My ultimate goal is to be a University Professor. I also landed some positions in the Journalism field, mostly for writing and analysis columns. I'm feeling pretty good about the future.
CineraThat's nice to hear. I'm happy you're making progress in your career.
CineraI plan to hand in my 30 days notice at the beginning of May, so that I can quit at the end of the month. I'm hoping to use the time between June 1st and the start of my Masters program to do some intensive studying (I've been out of formal education for 4 years, and I've forgotten a lot of Maths, Statistics and Computer Science). There's also a lot I simply didn't learn in the first place.
CineraOptimistically, I can put in 8- 10 hours of full time studying 5 - 6 days a week.
CineraI plan to use my remaining free time to hit the gym and begin working out seriously. Ideally 2 - 4 hours on the days they open.
