So that said, I still believe that most strategies will not work on Moubu. Especially given how Karin was never able to defeat him after 3 years.

Tbf to Karin, the one time we know Moubu and Karin's army fought each other, around the state of Ai arc, I believe. Right before Karin could make her move the war had to be stopped due to the failure of Ai (somebody correct me on the Ai stuff I might be getting it confused with sum else).
