@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung For sure that's a huge part of it but nearly all marines hold the same philosophy on Pirates and evil, until Fujitora came. Kuzan as far as the the WG would be aware is just like any of the rest, considering all VAs we've seen showcased the same philosophy as Akainu. Hell even Smoker up until PH was the same way.

@Big Boiii Well the Admirals, despite huge differences in personality, can get along as a group just fine and they see each other as comrades but never did we have a Top Tier that actually desires to be praised by another Top Tier throwing himself in danger for that.

Getting Fujitora out of the Reverie was just not possible without starting a huge battle. GB knew that. There was not really much to do for him there.

But I don't see where insulted the Gorosei, he was just being truthful about the matter and expressing his frustrations, which is completely natural. Sengoku got pissed about the WG's orders regarding the ID prisoners, we just never saw Sengoku engage with the Gorosei. The only person who got insulted was Akainu when they told him to shut his "insolent" mouth. You can say his disrespectful, but insulting? ehh

But he was like "You sure you're not going to destroy this conference are you?". So I'd imagine he would've done something eventually if Fuji's intention was to interrupt the Reverie.

I honestly don't think Sakazuki has any real loyalty to the Government but the Marines only. This may be proven wrong in the future but it's not an issue regardless because the WG are antagonists and Akainu is obviously one himself so they'd rather stick together.

@Big Boiii they don’t have as much conviction as Sakazuki though. Sakazuki kills civilians just to kill theoretical criminals who may not exist. No other Marines go that far lol. Sakazuki’s extremism is what made him the ideal candidate I think, especially after the Whitebeard war where citizens around the world realized how much of a threat Pirates posed to them lol.

@Big Boiii I'm pretty certain that Akainu called them puppets of the CD and that this entire matter of Doflamingo resigning was far more then they could handle. That's definitely insulting imo.

@MarineHQ62 Right but Akainu knew that as well, when he gave GB the order to forcefully kick Fujitora out of the Reverie. Mans didn't even try bro, he told Fuji what AKainu's order was, Fuji said "should we fight", homie said, "ahaha no bro I'm good". And yea right after that quote you posted Fuji said, "I might be crashing the meeting, but it's the system I mean to destroy". GB said, "ahahaha buddy you're crazy!"

@MarineHQ62 @Fleet Admiral Lee Hung One thing that's been annoying me however is the lack of development for the next gen marines. I mean we still got further arcs to go still. I'm at around chapter 1010 and not fucking with Drake's role at all. I'm at a point I'd have Oda feed Dracule to one of the younger marines tbh.

@Big Boiii Aramaki not wanting to fight Issho doesn’t mean he’s not an extremist, it just means he isn’t blindly following every order he receives, which seems quite accurate to how he’s been portrayed thus far in Wano. Sakazuki doesn’t seem to have much control over him at all. Lol

Oda could flush Drake down the toilet at this point and no one would notice tbh. I think Smoker and Koby are the “new-Gen” Marines that Oda cares the most about.
