Genchiro is easy as shit anyway and fast to beat. Besides, u can always do reflection of strength to solo Isshin

@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung i actually feel like Isshin's difficulty is pretty overrated, first phase becomes pretty manageable after some practice, and the lightning reflection can sometimes make phase 3 a little too easy.

I don’t like the first phase Genichiro because it’s annoying having to redo it everytime, not because it’s hard.
I only died to Isshing ~6 times my first play-through and can take him and his inner variant down consistently to the point where they don’t give me trouble in the boss rush modes.

Isshin is not that hard, and the difficulty he does have is masked by how fucking great he is. Lol
I didn’t find Owl Father as hard as Isshin, his flame Owl to Shadow Rush combo got pretty predictable after a while, and his only attack that I found kinda tough to react to was his fire-cracker slash lol.

Also to preface this, I think the inner variants of Isshin, Genichiro, and Owl that you can fight at the sculptor idols are all superior to their base version.
In my mind it goes Inner Owl Father > Inner Isshin > Owl Father > Isshin > Inner Genichiro > Genichiro.

Have you guys seen Afro Senju’s video on Isshin? He legit beats Isshin first attempt without having ever seen the boss. And Afro is not that good, it’s just that Isshin is such a flawless test of the skill that the game ingrained into you. Lol

I feel like Owl's posture gage being harder to build up actually makes his fight last longer, even though he only has two health bars.
I find myself having to chip away at his vitality before I can get some proper posture buildup, unlike Isshin who's pretty easy to build up his posture gage(esp in phase 1).

Owl Father (the hidden version in Hirata estate) will always be my favorite boss in Sekiro.
