yah I didn't like Revice at all because of how obnoxious/self-centered all the Igarashi kids were for the whole season and how much the show shoved them in our faces. The only redeeming characters on the show imho was Junpei/Genta Igarashi/Vail (had his own special and should have been the main character of Revice tbh), Hiromi Kadota/OG Demons and Hana/Aguilera (honorable mention to Akaishi)

It started for me with Power Rangers when I was 4 with Wild Force/Ninja Storm/Dino Thunder and when I got a laptop and was able to access FB in 2012-ish, I got into Kamen Rider/Super Sentai a ton there (impossible to find subs there now since FB cracks down on it now a ton). Fell in love with Drive and ToqGer (slow start but god tier ending climax) around 2014/2015. Also honorable mentions to Ex-Aid and Build

Fuuto Tantei iirc has OP/ED singers that did songs or acted (such as Eternal) for W in the past which is a really nice touch

Geats also has 2 riders killed in 2 episodes, if you're into the battle royale/life or death stakes similar to Ryuki/Gaim

yeah Shinkenger is basically goated for characters/plot (even had Shinken Gold return as a Kamen Rider last yr in Saber). Other good sentai mentions mostly before 2014 sadly such as Gokaiger (golden standard), Dekaranger (so popular they had 5 special v-cinemas after 2016) and Go Onger (best cast chemistry and hilarious funny villains).

I do like Geats' kitsune mask but yeah like you said the designs are lacking rn but expect it to be a bit more polished in the coming months. Buffa (Buffalo Zombie) is really cool too, actor reminds me of a mix between Tachibana and Hajime from Blade somehow XD. And Geats reminds me of Tendou/Kabuto (https://kamenrider.fandom.com/wiki/Ace_Ukiyo)

actually one recent sentai honorable mention in Kirameiger/2020, also had Tomokazu Sugita (Katakuri/Gintoki) as the team's mentor which was pretty cool

super sentai and kamen rider have also recently made a conscious effort to recruit well known seiyuu and jpop singers instead of hiring in-house actors/singers that fizzle out within 2-3 years after the show. Ex-Aid (Daichi Miura), Build (Norio Wakamoto), Zi-O (Rikiya Koyama), Zero-One (Shou Hayami), Saber (Akio Ōtsuka/Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra). Revice (Subaru Kimura/Da-ICe)

Showa songs are definitely timeless classics for Sentai/Kamen Rider/Ultraman, you'll hardly find anyone that hates them

in terms of looks, either Holy Live (hated that POS personality wise though) OR Cross Z-Magma Knuckle. It's honestly a tie for me

You should definitely try out Decker, it’s so much better than Trigger(low bar but) so far.
As for Rider Idk if I will, Revice was great but became a disappointment for me, rn I am just watching Futo Tantei
