Matchups have basically been a complete non factor for High/Top Tier battles:
* Katakuri always loses to King
* Aramaki always loses to Kaido
* Etc.

Any top tier can beat each other due to circumstances(Admirals/Yonkos)
Same goes for YC1+
Katakuri could beat King if King is distracted or in his speed form all the time for "Plot".
Zoro high/extreme diffs but portrayal can be an argument for other people to make
Some Kid and Law fans make good cases.
