Having strong VAs (Garp aside) fight pirates on panel would have been so cool.

Personally, the only expectations that I have for them are to be final war matchups for Robin & Franky with Kurouma being Jinbe's matchup.
They would basically fill in the gap between Admirals (Zoro/Sanji matchups) & the VAs that we've seen as of now who aren't all that impressive.

I doubt they are any stronger than other top VAs like Onigumo, Strawberry, Momonga, Doberman, Dalmatian, etc. probably top Yonko Commander level overall.

I believe they were candidates in Oda's sketches not the actual manga, they will certainly be stronger than your average vice admiral but nowhere near an actual admiral, that'd be too broken.

@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung tbh Oda giving them Zodiac + color epithets like the Admirals & calling them admiral candidates does give them better portrayal than other top VAs. Additionally, all three of them are based on jp actors as well like the admirals.
Although i do agree that their"admiral candidature" alone isnt enough to place them near admirals - its like WsW being a Calamity candidate tbh.

@ConquistadoR ”Dark Horse” is also an Admiral epithet but I doubt that guy is as strong as top VAs. Maybe Yamakiji level

They're fodder. Literally the weakest VA. Were made for SBS, won't ever ever be relevant.

@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung disagree lol. He wasnt introduced as a VA itself, he exists outside that heirarchy. And he was introduced alongside Kizaru & Akainu which is why i think he might be Jinbe's final fight.

Interesting, I’m just realizing he doesn’t have an official rank. He is also based on an actor like the other Admirals, so he might actually be an outlier. Lol

But I still wouldn't expect a heavy hitter to have a normal office job like Tensei. He can probably hold his own but have a hard time seeing how he can be stronger than Momonga/Doberman etc

@SakazOuki top VAs likely have better fighting ability than him but DF powers can skew things. Tensei may have a Hax DF that makes him more dangerous than Onigumo and co. While also not being as good of a fighter as they are.

Gion & Tokikake were introduced with VA's (Garp is an obv exception) while KuroUma was introduced with Akainu & Kizaru. Which is what makes me think he's a Jinbe fight lol.

True I also somehow forgot a point I made multiple times before, he didn't use honorifics to address Akainu, must be a solid guy.
