Xione@Franosuke While Rayleigh is Zoro's parrallel in the sense they're the right hand men of the PK. Rayleigh doesn't represent Zoro's peak potential that he needs to surpass. Or at the very least how strong he would be. For example Killer is more like Rayleigh than Zoro is. From how Killer and Ray are the only ones from their crew on 1st name basis with their captains. Both being tactical and intelligent.
XioneBoth being pirates to support their captains, rather than their own personal ambitions like WSS or some shit.
XioneWhen it comes to Roger-Zoro. From that generation the swordsman that Oda chose to highlight with Haki/sword techniques/CoC to give us a glimpse of what Zoro could be doing, wasn't Rayleigh it was Roger in the Oden flashback. Going so far enough to have Oden mention the "Beast like aura/spirit" of Roger, that's been mentioned multiple time for Zoro.
XioneAnd of course Zoro bowing to just Mihawk, just like Roger did to his enemy, to achieve his goal. Something Rayleigh I doubt would ever do. And something Mihawk for sure would never do, but something Shanks would do though.
Dark Admiralyou feeding Prime Roger as Zoro's parallel is the last thing we need to fire up Zoro-stans, lol.
Monster LuffyI see. Another Zorotard trying to impose parallel that was not intended by Oda. 🤣🤣
Talk when someone in the manga say how Zoro reminds them of Roger, then you have ammunition to drive that 'parallel' agenda.
Monster LuffyGoing by your logic, Sanji parallels to Rayleigh for him being tactical, Blond, using kicks, womanizer.
