CineraSo endurance, strength, speed, etc. This was pretty overdue TBH, as Luffy was getting overly reliant on G4 to fight against high tiers.
Afterwards he started learning the barrier COA that let the user deflect attacks without touching them or do something like haki blasts. This was the basic application of ryou, and if normal koka is level 1 COA, I guess this is level 2.
CineraLuffy was further able to unlock the penetration ryou which allowed the individual damage objects from the inside without contact, which Hyou claimed is much more advanced than the ordinary level 2 COA. It seems to be the future sight equivalent of COA, and previously only Rayleigh (and perhaps Sabo) have shown it. I think we could call this level 3 COA.
SentinelThat's why it's extremely difficult imagining current Zoro or Kidd may be close to current Luffy. The latter already got a strength power up with his kairoseki training and recently, gaining advanced CoA Lv. 2 doesn't make it better for Zoro or Kidd.
CineraLevel 3 COA should lead to a substantial boost in Luffy's attack power as he is able to bypass external durability and deal internal damage directly with each strike. Against Kaido, Luffy would bypass his scales/tough exterior entirely and directly attack the much more vulnerable internal organs.
It is currently unknown what (if any) protection hardening offers against this.
CineraLuffy seemed to get the hang of this during his training. He was able to make the tree explode from the inside out, and that's gotta be hella brutal.
Unlike COO, COA seems to be much less circumstantial and doesn't require one be calm before using it. Perhaps level 3 COA would be more reliable than future sight.
Cinera@Sentinel Zoro did get his Enma training, and he has still yet to show Asura Considering how G2/G3 and Diable Jambe underwent substantial improvements over the timeskip, it's only natural to expect Asura did as well. That said current Luffy is around low top tier, and even if one gave Zoro massive benefit of the doubt, he caps at mid high tier.
CineraSo in the best case Luffy is an entire level above him, and in the worst case he's two levels above. If I was to make a conservative estimate, I guess I'll go with a mid diff fight for current Luffy vs current Zoro.
