Terrible lag after each battle, crazy textures that break everything, weird glitches. Why must they destroy such a great game?

Totally agree.

Ah you're a Symphonia fan too Wordy? I LOVE that game! Namco Bandai are awful in the past years though, they do awful/half assed PC ports too now for quite a few years, same with Koei Tecmo and its frustrating.

Knowing one of my favourite games of all time has gotten a shitty remaster apparently, just saddens me immensely now lol. I've heard Baten Kaitos and Ghost Trick are getting remasters too and those are 2

games I REALLY loved too, so I pray their remasters will be good at least too!

Borderlands 1 got a decent remaster/remake at least, Resident Evil 4 Remake looks and sounds very promising so far, so some remasters and remakes actually do turn out decent, despite a bunch of terrible to mid/lame ones out there unfortunately.

I'm still wishing games like Beyond Good and Evil 1, Space Station Silicon Valley, Skies of

Arcadia, Timesplitters 2 and 3 and so on could get remasters and such! Goldeneye 64 desperately needs an authentic remake, same with Jet Force Gemini too!

But yeah, thats really sad to hear about TOS, such a beautiful, heartfelt game. So much great character and charm to it. I did an absurd number of playthroughs with how replayable it was and just how much I loved the charaters. Raine and Sheena ftw lol.

Video game preservation is a real frustrating and sad tale too. Nintendo still hasnt made Gamecube games available via Virtual Console 20 years since the Gamecube came out now, FFS...But at least Metroid Prime and Baten Kaitos are getting remasters! Wind Waker and Twilight Princess got HD remasters/semi remakes or w/e so theres slim hope!

Super Mario 64 NEEDS a proper remake along with Ocarina of Time too!

Symphonia is the best Tales game, possibly one of my all time fav games, even. I haven't kept up with the newest Tales releases though bc the battle system has gotten complicated. I really love old JRPGs-- Skies of Arcadia is great. "Lambda Burst!" is a running joke in this house. Remasters are so hit or miss, though. I'd just prefer to fire up the ol Genesis...

Sorry I'm so slow to respond! Thats fantastic, it makes me extremely happy to meet fellow TOS fans, especially such a devout fan like you too ofc! I relate entirely, I didn't try any other ones except Berseria but my god it gave me a headache fast lmfao. I was so invested it in and enjoying it but the battle system, ERGH! The make your own combos and such? I got so confused on what to do, but its fantastic freedom

to experiment with ofc!
People complained TOS was too simple in its combat but it was challenging, especially certain late game bosses but even various boss fights and enemies through the game even from early on. God knows I suffered with the summon seal bosses, both the monster and the actual summon spirtis later LOL!

OH MAN YES! Chrono Trigger is ace, along with Baten Kaitos too! I didnt get to finish Chrono but
